Rekha (Madhuri Dixit) has not spoken to her two daughters, Jaya (Triptii Dimri) and Sushma (Dharna Durga), in years. The estrangement is bitter, the wounds raw. Then, in the dead of night, Rekha calls them both with the same cryptic, horrifying news: a man lies dead on her kitchen floor. She does not know who he is, how he got there, or why. The sisters rush to their childhood home - a cluttered, dimly lit bungalow that feels like a character itself - only to be sucked into a vortex of accusations, old grievances, and a corpse that keeps changing its story.
What follows is a single-night ordeal: the family must decide whether to call the police or dispose of the body themselves. Enter Charitra Kumar Gupta (Ravi Kishan), a nosey neighbor with a moral compass that points in whichever direction offers the juiciest gossip, and his wife Mrs. Gupta (Geetanjali Kulkarni), who wields passive-aggression like a weapon. Jatin Sarna plays Sukumar, a hapless delivery boy who stumbles in at the worst possible moment, while Arunoday Singh and Shardul Bhardwaj appear as a suspicious husband and a cop with a deadpan sense of justice. The plot spirals into a knot of lies, flashbacks, and one genuinely surprising twist that recontextualizes everything - but not everyone will be satisfied by where that twist leads.
